Sophie Achekian, L.Ac. is a Licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist in the state of California. She graduated summa cum laude from Emperor’s College of Traditional Oriental Medicine in Santa Monica, CA and completed her clinical externships at the UCLA Arthur Ashe Student Health and Wellness Center as well as Venice Family Clinic.
Prior to studying Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ms. Achekian earned a B.S. in Business Economics from UCLA and had a decade-long successful career as an Account Executive at an advertising firm in Los Angeles.
Today, Ms. Achekian runs a busy practice in Sherman Oaks. She specializes in providing individualized and timely healthcare for accident injuries. Ms. Achekian applies her in-depth knowledge of the ancient healing traditions within the context of the modern world to help her patients feel great, have abundant energy and reach their optimum health.
